Not sure if I like the generated code. I thought using table was not optimal:

                                    pack.setValue(vb.getPack());
                                    align.setValue(vb.getAlign());
                                 ]]></attribute>

This article originally appeared on The Conversation. We might think of state-supported health care as an innovation of the 20th century, but it’s a much older tradition than that. In fact, texts from a village dating back to Egypt’s New Kingdom period, about 3,100 to 3,600 years ago, suggest that...

If this is true, then noise cancelling headphones are not good for productivity. They cancel noise, not voices.

Amongst the various noises, intelligible speech is the most distracting. When you can understand what other people are saying, your intellectual productivity immediately drops by 50 to 60%, except when you are really in “flow”, a state of total absorption in your task and one that is very unlikely to happen in an open office because of the high level of concentration and enjoyment in your task that is required. The more intelligible the speech, be it from overhearing one half of a conversation, monologues or
dialogues, the more it ruins intellectual productivity46. The effect of hearing speech is based on two mechanisms which both reduce performance: it disturbs cognitive
processing and it causes an automatic orientation reflex that interrupts your attention. As
office noise is not continuous but rather contains unpredictable periods of silence and
speech with varying intelligibility, one cannot permanently become accustomed to
office noise.

Regulation of the ISPs is so overdue. Pay up to $62 per month to keep your privacy. This should be illegal.
This week AT&T got a lot of media attention for its expansion of its GigaPower service to Kansas City announced on Monday. The news wasn’t so much about the expansion, but about the ISP’s plans to to offer a $29 per month discount for customers who let Ma Bell scan their web searches in exchange…

I don't feel like watching this movie. I like colors.

I've read all 3 "romance novels" ages ago, and found the books a disturbing interplay nowhere near any real-world examples of consensual kink or BDSM; It was obvious this author has no idea what normal sexual relations between two sane human beings are. Not that it is supposed to be educational or accurate, though the average naive reader or movie-goer may not realize how far off the mark it is. Instead of fixing issues with intelligent narration or added dialogue between characters, the movie stumbles through codependent relations between a creepy sadist and a frumpy gal who asks to be beaten in exchange for ignominiously tormenting him afterwards. What could have been a romantic coming of age story results in a train wreck of two ingenuous sociopaths. Perhaps it should be labeled a psychological horror film? I left wondering which part of the duo was more the monster -- and who the protagonist would be -- since I found both equally disturbing.

I had a check engine light on and after looking up the error codes and consulting the net wisdom brought the car to DRW. His diagnosis was as expected from the BMW forums I had consulted and he repaired quickly and for a very reasonable price. I am happy with the repairs and haven't had a problem since.

The Park covers much of the eucalyptus forest above El Granada. It contains a quarry with a overlook deck from which you have a nice view of pillar point. There is a children's playground on the bottom with a picnic area. Fire roads give good hiking and biking opportunities.

Went there for a team lunch. The dining room is windowless but decorated with colorful peruvian art. The service was friendly and enthusiastic. We shared the mixed appetizer with beef heart skewers (good), giant corn, and a bit of ceviche. The main meals were all good. I would recommend trying their peruvian juices.

Dr Viale anesthesized me for a knee operation. He called the evening before, a Sunday, and explained in clear language what he was planning to do. He also went a bit into the background of how the chemicals interact inside the body and what to expect. In the clinic he was cheerful and friendly with patients and nurses.

The place is a euro style cafe. They sell espresso and little lunches along with ice cream. I find them to be friendly and the cappuccinos are okay. There is also free wifi.
