Exploring the intersections of technology and ministry.
Introduction
I am dedicated to living for Christ and sharing His Good News. Whenever I can I explore the intersection of technology and ministry through writing and conversation. As an avid photographer and designer I try to capture the beauty of God's creation. I am also host of a weekly podcast (WELSTech) on technology and ministry. If you are interested in this too, follow my blog on  martinspriggs.com

Anybody have a oneplus one invite? I'm looking for a good phone to test my mobile app development on at a more reasonable price than the Nexus 6. Thanks.

Coordinating time to meet with parents doesn't have to be a hassle. Create collaborative sign up sheets with parents to stay organized and make sure everyone can make it to the next PTA meeting. #GAFE

Is Google+ dead? I don't know the answer to that, but what I do like about it over Twitter is you can have a conversation over which you have some control. Not so on Twitter. One tool I ran across that can leverage the best of both is Friends Plus Me. I allows you to write longer form posts in Google Plus and auto post to other networks...like Twitter. That way followers on Twitter can click on a link, go to Google Plus...read the longer post...and engage in a discussion. More...uh...social that way! I like it.

I like Google Plus and hope it survives since the two alternatives (Facebook and Twitter) leave me wanting in any number of ways.

Good points. I love Hangouts...although for some reason the last time we did a Hangout on Air and set up Q&A, the Q&A app wasn't available to load in our Hangout. Had to actually go to the Event page to see the questions that were coming through. Couldn't "answer" or marked as complete like we could before.

On the Photos side, hopefully Google will get more competitive with Flickr on storage. I can get almost unlimited storage for full size photos on Flickr. Not so on Google +. Although I do like the Google + interface much better.

LIking what Google is doing with their products these days. More and more they are emerging as a "knowledge" company, while the likes of Apple and Microsoft are hardware and software companies.

Just discovered Sawmill Inn a couple of months ago. Have been there twice now. Food is excellent in my opinion. Had the Denver Omelet last Sunday. Good. Potatoes and English Muffin that came along with it were also good. Service was friendly and attentive. Nice place to bring family.
