Was back at the doctor's yesterday to have my #Fibromyalgia medication reviewed and dosage increased. Due to these restrictions on my health, multitasking is kind of a no-no.

I haven't had much time recently for Google+ (not helped that you can't auto schedule via +Hootsuite either) so please feel free to follow over on Twitter. (https://twitter.com/moxby_SummitWeb)

And for an explanation and a data-driven experiment why not check out

I am able to do my work (just) and manage Twitter but beyond that Fibro is taking my energy at the moment. Thanks for your understanding.

How Google May Use Searcher, Usage, & Clickstream Behaviour to Impact Rankings
https://moz.com/blog/google-may-use-your-behavior-to-impact-search-rankings-whiteboard-friday
via +Moz

>> interesting theory by +Rand Fishkin, but makes sense, if a search engine's ultimate goal is to answer a question (which it is) that finding a searcher's 'end point' could be a future part of the algorithms. Plenty to think about!
The amount of data Google has about our habits on the web is absolutely astounding. In today's Whiteboard Friday, Rand explores the implications of a recent patent, offering views into how they might be using that data.

The Alleged $7.5 Billion Fraud in Online Advertising
https://moz.com/blog/online-advertising-fraud

via +Moz #PPC #CPI #Advertising
Online advertising is often based around the idea of an "impression," but few of us actually know what that means. We assume it means some sort of interaction with a human being, but as it turns out, we're quite wrong. Today we dive into some staggering statistics with Samuel Scott.

Apparently the week before I'm on annual leave is a great time to pick up a bug to make getting paid work done much harder. Perfect timing :P #CantWin

59% of 25- to 34-year-olds head to the kitchen with either their smartphones or tablets

Millennials bring their “try it” attitudes and their mobile devices to the kitchen. Smart brands want in on all phases of their cooking experience.

Ryan Schilling spotted Google testing a new user interface (UI) for the local search results on the desktop search interface. This new interface looks more like the mobile UI than the normal desktop

#Facebook Lead Ads Simplify Opt-in Forms
>> but do be aware, as the author points out, you will need to update your privacy policy, because you are effectively sharing data with a third party.

Facebook is testing Lead Ads, allowing advertisers to collect email addresses without clicking a link or completing a form. This could be big!

The lunches here are so fresh and made from excellent ingredients, and the fresh coffee is excellently priced. The Internet connection is great and I often end up working here. Highly recommended.

We have just had some lovely Oreo cupcakes from Lilliput - a great concept and a delicious product, really great with a coffee. The cakes were professionally presented and tasted great, so thanks.

With no hesitation I can recommend Talk Networking to any local business. We have been to a few events now - it is a great forum to meet other businesses, create great contacts in a relaxed environment. Worried about ROI? We have build business relationships which have already yielded far more than we paid to be at the events. Worried about time cost? Just do it - get there, send someone else if you're a business of more than one person. It truly is worth the investment to meet great people and great businesses. Thanks TN!
