For a second I thought this was a recruiting tool used by OnePlus to find brilliant devs to work for them. What a twisted reality. Hacking, like a knife, is an important tool. However that tool can easily be turned into a weapon, and at that points it's unethical in every respect. http://www.gizchina.com/2015/08/04/want-a-oneplus-2-invite-there-is-a-hack-for-that/

Is the free windows 10 release actually Microsoft way of testing global bandwidth? Will the internet actually break? Most likely not.

This article explains the possible repercussions of a software release of this magnitude and how ISP's (Internet service providers) and Microsoft hope to avoid such repercussions.

Believe it or not, windows 10 probably is already downloaded onto your PC without you even knowing. If you opted in to the free upgrade, Microsoft has been secretly downloading the upgrade files to a hidden folder inside of Win 7 or Win 8.1. Pro trip, checkout the C:\$Windows.~BT folder in windows (There may be a setup exe there) :)

Will you be taking advantage of this free upgrade?

Hey everyone!

(There’s a TLDR at the end).

While most of you discovered me through the Photomania thread on the [OG] OnePlus, it seems like I’m passing the title off to someone else which I’m grateful for. Firstly, Photography has always been about the adventure for me; getting out in nature and taking in its inherent beauty. The competition aspect is only secondary, and even at that it’s not something I take to heart. That being said I will, absolutely, positively, be following the OnePlus 2 in regards to Photography –Unbiased, in my own way, and on my own time- preserving the integrity that the online community values so much. So look forward to that :)

With that out of the way, I’ve been doing some serious thinking, about my life, my career, and technologies that “I” find interesting. Now I don’t know if you [the community] knows about this, but there has been a plethora of technological advancements in academia which have been “ported” to consumer electronic. This is particularly exciting because it finally gives us, the consumer, a chance to try these new cutting edge technologies in the comfort of our homes. Coinciding with all these new products there is an equal amount of research which people often take for granted.

My Goal is to follow these new technologies and tear down the barriers of research in an effort to spark high tech consumer oriented product discussions exclusively here on G+ (Maybe a blog later). There are no guarantees on the frequency of these posts, but I really hope to share with you a technology or product that your aren’t familiar with.  I mean what part of this doesn’t sound interesting:  transcranial electric never stimulation in a consumer product that [effectively] alters your mental state using proprietary derived waveforms to interface with you mind. Mind you (pun intended) all this is controlled wirelessly by your smartphone.  I like to call it transcranial hacking.  (I will continue more with this later in the day/week).
Among other things, I value your feedback and if you find anything interesting feel free to comment and take part in the discussion.
Stay tuned

TLDR:
- I’ll be following the OnePlus 2 in the coming months with an unbiased review
- The world is an amazing place and countless new technologies are being explored. I hope to share some of them with you
- Stay tuned to my G+ because it’s about to get hot in here!

Science fiction becomes reality? Microsoft finally does something interesting! Project hololens could be the next big thing in augmented reality. Let's just hope it turns out to be successful unlike many other recent Windows products. Although I'm still waiting for the holodeck. . . Read more about the first hands on experience with hololens here http://gizmodo.com/microsofts-wants-to-turn-your-living-room-into-the-holo-1680924508
