I'm here for two reasons: to gather interesting ideas and connect to people with those and for sure for Photography. Photography is in general the only stuff I post to the public.
I'm a flexible guy interested in a lot of topics and themes and believe it is important to be open and flexible when listening to others. I still have some convictions I won't give up easily.
"Allow yourself to yield, and
you can stay centered.
Allow yourself to bend, and
you will stay straight.
Allow yourself to be empty, and
you'll get filled up.
Allow yourself to be exhausted, and
you'll be renewed.
Having little, you can receive much.
Having much, you'll just become confused."
If you take offense by my art/pictures/opinions/comments I point to the following line:
We'd as well be ten minutes back in time
For all the chance you'd change your mind.'
In Photography I'd love to one day create a work that fits the words below:
'Anybody can look at a pretty girl and see a pretty girl. An artist can look at a pretty girl and see the old woman she will become. A better artist can look at an old woman and see the pretty girl that she used to be. But a great artist — a master — can look at an old woman, portray her exactly as she is… and force the viewer to see the pretty girl she used to be….'

I have to admit that I planned to post this shot last week for "miniature worlds" but think that it may also count for "very vegetable", ne c'est pas?
To #macromonday with and the lovely !
Fasnacht or Carnival is always good for shooting traditional masks.
I was with my family in my home town Radolfzell those days during the fifth season. Fasnet (or Carnival) is a serious tradition there and the procession on Sunday is always lead by this traditional figure, the Kappedeschle.
Story goes that in medieval times when the French had occupied Radolfzell the local commanding officer forbid all masks in fear of rebellion and sabotage. Then a known local guy called Deschle (Cap) went to the officer and asked if it would be ok to wear his mask/costume when looking out of the window. The officer allowed this graciously. Well, then this guy just broke his complete window frame out of the wall and went to the street wearing it around his head. For this bravery and wit he became famous.
Near the end of a Sunday I would like to share with you something beautiful. Have a great week to come folks!
Sometimes you get a very special feeling when visiting a place well known, even when the mood is not merry but rather desolate. Is it me or is it the place? But the geometry speaks it's own language.
Didn't post a long time for #sacredsunday ... here we go for this weeks end and the new weeks start with #monochromemonday .
