Disclaimer: I'm mostly writing this so I can find it in a couple of years when I'm lost (again). Bonus if it ever helps somebody else.

It's Friday. Girlfriend is out. I really wanted to boot Warcraft 3 and watch a replay for good fun. I'm like that. Of course, my Warcraft 3 installation in Wine on Linux Mint x86_64 didn't work with the latest NVIDIA drivers (346.47) which I'm using since the distribution drivers are very old with regards to newer games. Game booted, sound was there, screen was blank. I could even use keyboard shortcuts to move around the main menu. "Q" for quit, of course.

I ended up having to edit the file "/etc/" and disable the only line "/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/mesa". I then added "/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu" and executed "sudo ldconfig".

Two very helpful commands were "LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose wine war3.exe -opengl" and "ldconfig --verbose  | grep" which pointed me in the right direction.

Now, back to and the replay of the week!

Just a reminder.
Here's a cool list of all the voice commands for the new Google Now. Really cool to see what you can do with them. (Zoom to see details)

+Adrienne Bernakevitch Ludwick, any plans regarding integrating Google+ and Google Calendar for event management? I think it's too cumbersome to create an event in Google Calendar and then share the link with the appropriate circles. Of course it doesn't have to be just like Facebook's implementation, but at least having an easy way to do event management on Google+ would be nice.

Any plans for merging Google+ Messenger and Google Talk? Using the Messenger app effectively gives you (group) chat, but only Talk is available outside of mobile devices at the moment.

As a keyboard player, I think it's a lot of fun to control my own band, but this guy went all the way and built his own!

Hmm, maybe Facebook found out that I am trying out Google+?
