It’s the message that spells doom and will render your handset worthless if it’s been repaired by a third party. But there’s no warning and no fix

'Google uses its giant data centers to simulate 3 million miles of autonomous driving per day'

https://static.googleusercontent.com/media/www.google.com/en//selfdrivingcar/files/reports/report-0116.pdf

The stock market seems to really like Google / Alphabets most recent numbers so the stock is up by nearly 6% right now which leads to a symbolic shift: Google has just surpassed Apple as the world's most valuable company.

Cyclocrosser's bike found to contain a motor. Seems beautifully made, but limited in energy. Just as a help for bursts, possibly?

I'd say "dead" might be a bit strongly worded. Still: The last quarter was a devastating one for Windows Phone / mobile Windows. Sales went down a staggering 57 percent. This is especially troubling because the new Lumias were introduced last quarter. Personally I'm not overly surprised given that it was pretty obvious for quite some time now that Microsoft is shifting its focus away from mobile Windows (though there is a very vocal minority who comes out in force if you dare to say so ;) ). Also when playing around with the Lumia 950 / XL I pretty quickly got the feeling that this is a device where the manufacturer stopped caring about it at some point during development. Releasing it with such unfinished software seemed like a "Let's get over with this" kinda statement to me.
Having said that: Will be interesting to see what all that means for the rumored Surface Phone - and how seriously MS is going to take this one. Also I wonder if any mobile Windows devices by other manufacturers will actually make it to market (given that MS reportedly has told its partners that they are not going to continue mobile Windows on ARM)
Windows Phone started off life as a promising alternative to Android and iOS five years ago. Microsoft positioned its range of Windows Phone 7 handsets as the true third mobile ecosystem, but it's...

It's possible that you reached this article purely by chance, or you may have Googled 'how to change the default search engine in Microsoft Edge'. However you got here, the fact that you're reading this indicates that you're either interested in Windows 10's Edge, or actively use it -- and this means there's something you need to know.

"So when you talk with an extreme libertarian who argues that the free market and competition always lead to an optimal solution, feel free to share this story of 34 little POS machines."

Private enterprises are sometimes really efficient. They have an army of business heads sticking out of Windsor neckties and thinking about the best way to run everything. But sometimes this leads to results that might surprise laymen like me: POSMachines2. Don't worry, I counted them for you.
