+Danny Sullivan will a nice first look at social media apps on the Apple watch

My look at how Twitter and Instagram work in small-form on the Apple Watch. Facebook's promised app has still to arrive. Google, as best I can tell, hasn't released a single app for the platform.
Don't expect to create much social media content to share on the Apple Watch. However, it does support bite-size consumption, including liking Instagram images and retweeting tweets.

Cool Newport history, unearthed by Google's field trip app: "The Pacific Electric Red Cars, 1910" discovered via Field Trip App. http://fieldtripper.com/c/Rlll0fEd-FI=/
The arrival of the Pacific Electric Red Cars came shortly after McFadden sold his McFadden's wharf, railroad, and real estate interests in Newport Beach. Having departed from Los Angeles, the Pacific Electric Red Car's hour-long journey took passengers through Long Beach, Seal Beach, Huntington, ...

Google makes it easier to bookmark locations .. by adding it to the local box in search.
Clicking on the star icon adjacent to a place name in local box saves the location to Maps and directions suggestions.

Ugh ...

For f... sake... :)
So, earlier this week, NASA's chief scientist Ellen Stofan was talking on a panel about their efforts to detect signs of life in space. Specifically, she said this:

"I think we're going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth within a decade, and I think we're going to have definitive evidence within 20 to 30 years."

"We know where to look. We know how to look. In most cases we have the technology, and we're on a path to implementing it. And so I think we're definitely on the road."

"We are not talking about little green men. We are talking about little microbes."

So, how do you think the media reacted to this? Yeah... you guessed it. "THE ALIENS ARE COMING. RUN AWAY!!"

...and the publishers still can't figure out why less and less people are subscribing to their newspapers :)

BTW: The newspaper screenshot on at the bottom is from one of the largest national newspapers in my country (translated).
