and I are bringing you a panel discussion about the myths versus the realities of some well-known cuisines. Our panelists will tell us all a bit about themselves, about what (if any) preconceived notions they had about French, Italian and Portuguese cuisine and help illuminate the reality as well.
Our panelists are all smart, funny and thoughtful and passionate about food. I think it will be an entertaining, interesting and illuminating conversation, and I invite you to ask questions and share your own impressions and history with these well-known cuisines. Leave your questions in the comments here on the event page or ask them as you watch live, either here on G+ or on YouTube.

The fantastic chef, blogger and Google + Ambassador +Chef Dennis Littley
will be acting as our technical guru during our hangout, checking for questions and comments all over social media. He also brings a long history as a professionally trained chef to our panel. As a trained chef, Dennis can share his perspective own on these cuisines.
I will be moderating the panel and trying to keep what is a very broad topic on a fairly narrow track. I hope!
If you are a food enthusiast, you won't want to miss this conversation! We hope to see you during the hangout, but you always have the option of watching afterwards on YouTube. #hangoutsonair #foodandculture #foodtalk #Italianfood #FrenchFood #Portuguesefood
