Set up, adjust, and operate audiovisual equipment such as cameras, slide projectors, and recording equipment, for Worship Service, Bible Study, classes, seminars and music festivals, family video night etc.
Oversees the use of various media equipment, including video, film, photographic and audio equipment. May oversee or operate highly technical or complex equipment, such as multi-media and computer projection equipment.
Coordinate equipment installation, maintenance and repair needs.
Perform simple maintenance tasks such as cleaning monitors and changing batteries.
Maintain hardware and software, including computers, scanners, color copiers, color laser printers and any other office equipment. Answer questions and help resolve computer-software or hardware problems
Determine formats, approaches, content, levels, and mediums necessary to meet production objectives effectively and within budgetary constraints. May make recommendations for equipment purchases, system design, and facility utilization.
Instruct users (Pastor’s, clergy) in the selection, use, and design of audiovisual materials, and assist them in the preparation of presentation slides and the rehearsal of presentations.
Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our members and new friends.
Acquire, catalog, and maintain collections of audiovisual material such as films, video- and audio-tapes, photographs, and software programs.
Offer presentations and workshops on the role of multimedia in effective presentations. (Show other churches how visual additions can improve service)
Narrate presentations and productions.
