According to +eMarketer, Facebook made $1.73 billion in display revenue in 2011, slightly ahead of Google’s $1.71 billion. eMarketer expects Facebook to expand its lead slightly in 2012, but pegs Google to overtake Facebook as the display ad leader in 2013.

They can have their $$$ on FB. Still not a better product and I have yet to see +Google+ have ads all over like FB has to have.
+Jacob Burrell true but Google isn't as desperate to monetize its social network like Facebook. I'm sure ads will come but Facebook really has no other way of making money outside of its Profile Pages.
