This picture is of a Shell tanker which passed me on the motorway the other day - I must admit I felt a bit proud. Back in the 1990's I worked on the whole Shell Retail Visual Identity project and key outputs of my work included a refreshed rendition of the Shell Logotype (as it appears on the canopy), RVI detailing (including pump graphics, along with subbrands like AquaValet and Select), and of course this vehicle livery.
All this work I completed while working as a designer at SampsonTyrrell - now known as The Brand Union.
