Editing iWork docs... collaboratively... in Chrome... on Ubuntu Linux... running on a Chromebook (that can run Android apps side by side). #geeking

PS. The iWork collaboration is actually pretty good out the gate. I'm impressed.

Sigh. I guess I'll try it since hangouts is eating about half my outgoing texts on my phone. I really don't want to go back to a chat app that doesn't also work on a browser or on a desktop. Let's see how this goes... who else is in?

PS Glad we have slack for work!

Hangouts on my Nexus 6P is still dropping my outgoing messages. They just disappear. It's unusable. I haven't found a solution. Anyone else experiencing this?

That said, there's no compelling reason at all to go to Allo or Duo. I really need a cross platform solution that works on all my devices (including a full web browser).

Wire is edging out WhatsApp for me when it comes to personal messaging... it's got some great features but not ideal when switching devices. And my SMS still go to hangouts (at least I get them on the web).

It was so great when everyone was on hangouts (and it worked).

And I'm so glad we've got Slack for work!

Any other solutions or suggestions for me?

FTR I can't find much evidence of this issue online, but did find recommendations to roll back all updates to hangouts if having trouble... I tried that and so far so good. No outgoing texts lost in the past two days.

Happy equinox, all! It's a great opportunity to celebrate the fruits of your labor so far this year... and to plan ahead for the winter (and year) to come. Peace, blessings, and inspiration to you all. :)
