I prefer Secular Buddhism: it makes no supernatural claims and advocates only those practices that are consistent with or corroborated by reason and the best science available.

What's reasonable and scientific about Secular Buddhism? Neuroscience is showing that its core staple, secular meditation, makes the brain perform better.

Johnny, traditional Buddhist scriptures do mention deities and other unlikely events that could be considered supernatural. Since the core of the Buddha's message is--change yourself through meditation and help others---some people dispense with the superstitious and supernatural aspects of traditional Buddhism and self-identify as Secular Buddhists.

or maybe this post reminds the reader to assert their inner strength. It is certainly true that some people are living their full potential and others just haven't gotten around to it.

Chicago area TV Channel 17 interview: We talked about spirituality and meditation not needing pseudoscience, faith in God(s), gurus, and the supernatural.

Techniques such as mindfulness and vipassana meditation have been practiced for thousands of years, are corroborated by reason, psychology and neuroscience, and help develop a sense of compassion, charity and the pursuit of meaning and knowledge. These secular practices are consistent with the best science available and are perfect for atheists, skeptics, humanists, freethinkers, as well as all others who wish to practice spirituality without religion or reference to supernatural forces.

You have the right to remain stupid. Everything you do not know can and will be used against you. Mostly for profit.
