Finally, into the dungeon.
It takes the party over two hours to cover the remaining distance to the Maze. The continued rain has done the imposssible: made the area even more of a mucky mess. As the party gets close to fog-shrouded walls, Ava takes a pass around the ruin. She returns and reports no sign of activity within ...

The party manages to talk Durego out of killing the helpless kobolds, and now they turn their attention to getting what information they can from the dog-headed runts. Also, running away.

The battle is mostly over, but the party still has to deal with the remaining gnolls and kobolds. Fortunately both groups seem to be running away.
Most enemies are down, but we stuck with combat rounds this turn, because there are still fleeing gnolls and cowering kobolds around. Since there are no visible enemies, initiative isn't really a factor. [Round Nine] Saurabh rises higher into the air, keeping a sharp eye out for foes approaching ...

I've just published the latest triple pack of tiles for Dungeons in Blue, kicking off the new Expansion sets. I've done a whole bunch of specialized tunnel and cavern types over the last few months, and Expansion gemorphs are the first series to make use of all these passage types.

So close to a self-inflicted TPK! So very close.
