The usually empty ruins show signs of life. Who goes there?
After spotting horse, hound and human tracks in the abandoned village, the party proceeds with more caution. As they continue along the roadway, they note the horsemen came and went the same way. "Could be good, could be bad," muttered Durego. "Maybe Lord Thambar is just beefing up patrols." ...

The latest Dungeons in Blue Tile of the Week, a dead-end cavern that's been roughly dug out. Maybe there's some mineral wealth here, or maybe it's new construction.
Here is today's Tile of the Week entry. This is the third of four quarter-sized, dead-end tiles, each with a different connecting passage type. This is a double-wide cavern that ends in a large worked mine area or under construction cave.

A WIP preview of a new Dungeons in Blue tile set, The Lava Flows. This set (well, probably three sets), follow the same model as cross-tile water features, so you can create lava rivers and seas in your dungeons. These tiles are heavy on caverns and caves, because... lava.

Still heading east. They think. Lost party is lost.
Time for a travelogue! Once the scouts realize that the group is lost, they adjust their course to the northeast (or so they hope). Dark skies, dense woods and cloud cover make it difficult to accurately gauge direction. The group makes another mile or so before the sun drops below the horizon.

Sometimes player do very cool things. One of my LL players just shipped me a 12-pack of his homebrews as thanks for running the game, including two bottles of the first mead he ever made, in 1995. :)

Looks like I picked a good day to start drinking!

The party starts east on the long road home.
With the crypts cleared, there is little left to do in Pillar Vale. The collapsed entrances hold some interest, but the party has few tools for excavation, and the wiser party members have finally realized the dire state of their supplies. Even Raúguey's pleas to pick up the cached supplies the ...

Here's today's Tile of the Week for Dungeons in Blue. It's a quarter-sized dead-end tile suitable for terminating a dungeon hallway.
Here is today's Tile of the Week entry. This is the second of four quarter-sized, dead-end tiles, each with a different connecting passage type. This is a typical 10-foot hall that ends in a couple of small rooms. Tile 75 - Player version. Tile 75 - GM version. Show/hide GM Version ...

You know, I really didn't see it till I zoomed in, and even then it doesn't really bother me that it ends there. It's got a good flow to it.

A quick blog update covering the latest Dungeons in Blue Geomorphs.

#dungeonsinblue
There are now three new Dungeons in Blue geomorph packs available on DriveThruRPG / RPGNow. The Mines #1, The Mines #2 and The Mines #3 all depict rough-hewn, unfinished corridors and chambers supported by irregular pillars and posts. You can use these tiles to represent mine tunnels or areas ...
