Interesting read, to say the least...
How a simplistic, unworkable, and ultimately stifling conception of social justice took over the American college campus.

Long live the blues...
The legendary guitarist known as B.B. King, whose velvety voice and staccato picking style brought blues from the margins to the mainstream, has died.

Interesting, to say the least, for those nerdies out there...
Where do developers live? How much do developers earn? Vim or Emacs? Tabs or spaces? This is the most comprehensive software developer survey on earth.

"A Scrum Master in ninja socks has come into your office..."

This is a very long article about computers, software development, and the people who do software development (aka "coders"). Read it as a short book with chapters, but no table of contents <sigh/>. Or just chalk it up as TL;DR;.
The world belongs to people who code. Those who don’t understand will be left behind.

Cautionary tale of too much of, well, a not so good thing...

Thanks for sharing this fascinating article with me, Mark.  It provides some real insight into why our health care system costs are shockingly high, with really nothing to show for it;   US per capita costs are nearly twice those of any other industrialized country while we rank well down the list in almost all measures of health, fitness, well-being, longevity, etc. It's also nice to see that the ACA health care reform is moving the system in a better direction and starting to show some very positive results. Hopefully, the law will be given the additional necessary time to prove its long-term worth (if only the conservatives would just give it a rest!).
