For better results listening to lossless 192 KHz 24 bit deep FLAC (192/24) music I went from a SB 1350 computer sound board to a SB 1500 Sound Blaster Z sound board---it's a little better---be sure to turn off the SB 1500 "Surround" and "Crystalizer" options though.  I didn't realize how bad CD music fidelity was until I listened to 192/24 music.  I've changed the primary format I listen to several times: LPs to reel-to-reel tape to quadraphonic casettes to casettes to LPs to CDs to 192/24 music.  I don't listen to anything except 192/24 now---everything else is so bad by comparison.

YEARS AGO:  I'd buy a new Dell computer ever four years or so and transfer my Windows files from old to new computer, install latest version of Fedora Linux on new computer and transfer my Linux files from old to new computer.

DURING LAST SIX MONTHS:  Had computer.  Ordered and received an upgraded graphics card too big to fit it computer case.  Bought a bigger case and transplanted computer.  Now want to order better sound card but it won't fit in new case---will still upgrade but not to sound card I was hoping to.

FOUR YEARS OR SO FROM NOW:  I'll buy a very large case in four years or so, transplant the computer from current case to very large case and update other hardware and software components as wanted then.

Buying a new computer from Dell every four years or so was convenient for me because I know more about software than hardware but it didn't give me the hardware flexiblity and customization I wanted.

I've tried PonoMusic and Tidal and like PonoMusic better.  Their music sounds better, it was easier to figure out how to download music to my computer, and all music is shown with what format, kbps, and bits it is.  Some Tidal music sounds so bad I wonder if 1) it's not FLAC high-res music or 2) if it is, if it is upsampled from CD quality music to FLAC high-res.  My guess is PonoMusic is more concerned with provenance that Tidal.

Elon Musk (Hyperloop, Internet satellites, SolarCity, SpaceX, Tesla) is working on too many risky projects.  Some may crash and burn.  The temptation to co-mingle funds may be too great.  What do you think his net worth is U.S. dollars will be in 2023?

Bought a 192 kHz, 24 bit copy of Neil Young's Storytone from the newly opened, high-resolution music, PonoMusic company.  High-resolution music sounds much better than ordinary music to me.  (Disclosure: I'm not connected witth PonoMusic, and listen to the music on a computer--- not a portable PonoPlayer.)

(A keyswitch is the electrical switch installed on each key of a computer keyboard.)

OLD FAVORITE KEYSWITCH: The Cherry MX Brown keyswitch was my favorite keyswitch.  See http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/mechanical-switch-keyboard,2955-3.html for more info.

NEW FAVORITE KEYSWITCH: Matias Corporation manufactured "Quiet Linear Mechanical Keyboard Switch" for the "Open Steno Project" is now my favorite keyswitch.  See https://www.crowdsupply.com/open-steno-project/mechanical-keyboard-switch for more info.  I haven't found any keycaps I like for this keyswitch yet.
