Just if by chance there are any local, state, or federal employees whose job is working on web sites used by citizens and businesses to file data, here’s my rant for the day.

There are four major browsers used around the world and our local, state, and federal governments should fully support the use of each of these browsers with secure connections. At this point this is not being done.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Firefox
Google Chrome
Apple Safari

The Unites States Department of Justice rightfully sued Microsoft for improper trade practices because they were operating in a monopolistic manner. They forced Microsoft to separate Internet Explorer from the Windows operating system.

Failure to support these four popular browsers is aiding Microsoft in their monopolistic tactics. Competition is what keeps things in check and our government has to operate in a manner that supports competition. Failure to fully support each of these four browsers is a failure to encourage competition.
