The stories we care about are the stories about the story. These are what we can relate to and reflect back at ourselves what we learned, remember, value. Since we all want to be understood, Social Media sharing is in our DNA. Watch a group of 18 year olds gather around a snapchat session - It's uproarious. However, I do miss the selective memory of pre-Digital. Storytelling was just that ... The fish/girl we caught was THIS big! Our imagination got more exercise. Oh yeah, I was on that same beach for Spring Break when I was 18 and I am glad I can remember it the way I want to.
