Beautiful day in downtown Milwaukee. Look closely and you'll see the arrival of the USS Milwaukee into the harbor!

It will literally be colder than the surface of Mars today, so bundle up.
“It will be colder than @MarsCuriosity’s location in Gale Crater throughout much the northern US and Canada today”

+Google is about to release their Google Now API to the public. Soon, app integration using context-aware data will soon be able to push cards into your #GoogleNow  feed!

Can't wait to get my hands on the API, myself!

Key concept from the article:
Imagine one-tap access to your favorite food delivery at lunch or a music service letting you know a surprise album just dropped. It’s not hard to picture your fantasy team’s score appearing next to your favorite MLB team’s result. And all of it without having to dig up a specific app or enter redundant preferences into Google Now.
Google Now plans to open its API to all apps, which would help the service go from "very useful" to "absolutely essential."

Our clocks are getting an extra second this summer. See what some tech companies are doing to prepare for it. Ever heard of a "leap smear"?

#leapsecond #leapsmear

On June 30th at precisely 23:59:59, the world’s atomic clocks will pause for a single second. Or, to be more precise, they’ll change to the uncharted time of 23:59:60 — before ticking over to the...

From the moment our training began, the staff were very professional and made the whole experience delightful. My wife, who does not even like flying, felt very comfortable throughout the day. Bo, Luke, and Sara, our instructors, were very friendly and more than willing to answer our questions. This was our very first skydiving experience, and I can say with confidence that we will definitely be back.
