Taking what's hopefully my last spin in Beta 2.06 I visited Samos Outpost which has a very odd arrangement of planets. Are such things possible?

Natalie Batalha, one of my crushes, does this great talk about the Kepler project and they cover binary, trinary and more systems that are actually simulated to be stable for billions of years.  Really good talk.

There are some beautiful planets out there. They seem to be improving  all the time.

Web developer and children's writer.
I'm a web developer at Allpay in Herefordshire. In my free time I like walking in the Shropshire Hills, reading, watching rugby and playing chess.

I also write children's stories, mainly for the 7 to 9 year age range. I'm a member of SCBWI British Isles, until they realise the truth and kick me out.

My opinions are my own. Unless someone is controlling me...

Evolution caught in a movie

It’s a standing joke that creationists demand a complete time-lapse recording of evolution before they’re going to believe it. Joke no more:

A lovely national trust garden ideal for a picnic. It's on the bank of the river Wye and there are many paths to explore, some of which are steep steps. There is a small shop on site and a self service tea tent.

We've just moved house and got the majority of the furniture from here. We checked out other shops in Hereford and Ludlow but JSF offered the best value and the ability to get stuff made bespoke. In the end we got a dresser, coffee table, TV console table, two book shelves and a desk (the desk made to order). With this we got a great discount and free delivery. Everything bar the desk and one shelf unit were delivered the following week, the desk and shelf unit arrived a fortnight later as they had to be made. The shop also sells bits and bobs for the house and has a second hand furniture section. It's a must visit if you are moving or refurnishing your house in Shropshire and the surrounds!

Great little wildlife sanctuary with events and falcon displays. £4 entry for an adult so good value. Next to a garden centre, which has a tea room, and miniature steam railway so plenty for all the family to do.
