I just published an article about high availability WordPress hosting for an always-online website and load balancing to handle traffic spikes with ease. One way to do it is with a three server cluster and DNS round robin! The benefits are obvious, and with the ever dropping prices of cloud computing (think DigitalOcean and Linode) it's becoming easier every day to set up a cluster! In this article I provide a detailed overview of our setup and starter tips on how to replicate it yourself (if you're into such nerdyness!) :)
High availability for an always-online website and load balancing to handle traffic spikes with ease. Is it possible? Yes, take a look at this article to learn how!

It's not too late to get a #mobile  version of your #wordpress  site! Check out these 7 #wordpressplugins  to get started!

Although 2013 was the year of mobile (again, and again :) ), you're still not late to join the not-so-exclusive club of mobile #wordpress  site  owners with any of these 7 awesome #pluginsforwordpress  ! #Mobilize  today :)
The cyber world is mobile friendly, and if you’re ignorant about the mobile responsiveness and capabilities of your WordPress websites, you could jeopardize your reach to as many as 80 percent of global internet traffic.

The new blogging platform, Ghost has been out for a couple of days! A lot of people ask the same question: is it threatening WordPress ? No it doesn't. It's not for the same purpose! #wordpress
In. Ghost vs. WordPress... In My Opinion. TLD;DR they're NOT the same, they aren't trying to solve the same problem so comparing them is only a little better than comparing a car to a carpet... How come? Sure, both can be used for blogging. WordPress started out as a simple blog platform a good ...

#HHVM  and #wordpress  3.9, it's going to be legen... wait for it! (until tomorrow :) )

The #PHP revolution is coming! With the latest 3.0 version of #HHVM and v3.9 of #WordPress (coming tomorrow!) this might change how every hosting company handles PHP and WordPress. We already support HHVM, get an account today and take it for a test drive!
You might say "I'm pretty sure DevOps is an antidepressant, so why should I care?" but if you want to maximize profits, you might want to read this!

I just corrected in an article (via comments) that there's no such thing as current_user_can( 'administrator' ). It should be 'manage_options' instead of 'administrator'. This is a rather regular error in #wordpress  themes and plugins, I assume it's because of a badly written tutorial. I'll have to hunt it down and notify the author :)

Have I told you that these are great times to work with #wordpress  ? :)
One might easily think that with all the new technology and consumer behavior change in the past one or two years means that something as old (in "internet years") as WordPress cannot continue to be on the top for long. Au contraire! We believe that the coming years will be truly exciting and prosperous for the whole WP ecosystem.
