I heard a review of the latest Bonnie Raitt album on NPR's Fresh Air - loved it, so went to buy it:
1. Accidentally logged into US iTunes - US$9.99 but wouldn't let me buy because I'm in Australia :-)
2. Logged into Australian iTunes AU$16.99 (US$17.84) Really?
3. Checked Amazon.com - They won't let me buy the MP3, because I'm in Australia (US$7.99) but they'll sell me the CD AND ship it to Australia for almost $2.00 less (US15.97) than it costs to download the album from iTunes in OZ

Is this how far we've come in the digital revolution? Is Bonnie Raitt getting paid any more for sales through iTunes in Oz? I doubt it.
