Born in Jakarta as Chinese-Indonesian, Mariska learnt how to cook from kindergarten from her Mom and Grandmoms. Finished her study in 2010 with Bachelor of Political Science at Parahyangan Catholic University but still love about cooking.
Because the injury in her leg of Giant Cell Tumor, Mariska must given up her dream to work on political job field and decided to take a full rest at home. Due the healing process from the post surgery, Mariska's passion of cooking start to grow up again by learning many Korean Cuisine from Maangchi (maangchi.com).
In November 2011, Maangchi came to Indonesia for her Maangchi's Gapshida Project. Together with Maangchi, Mariska shared her Indonesian Recipe through Youtube and Maangchi.com.
After got so many support, Mariska found new dream in culinary world. Mariska now is a student of Culinary School in Jakarta and own her small culinary bussiness along with her mother.
In early 2012, Mariska decided to share her Indonesian Food Recipes in her own Youtube account (Mariskalim) with aim that people all around the world will be familiar and interest to Indonesian Cuisine.
