Great piece!
If you have ever traveled with your gear, then you know it can be a headache trying to travel light! With many accessories and different lenses weighing you down, having all those options can actually prohibit you from shooting, rather than help you in the long run. Check out our latest episode of Photography After Hours on traveling light so that you can be fully prepared for your next adventure! We discuss some of our personal experiences, as well as some recommendations for lighter gear. Click here to watch the video: http://youtu.be/mG0WR6UTm9c

Whoopee!
Asteroid '2004 BL86' hovering behind the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

In this very rudimentary montage, I imagine Asteroid '2004 BL86' right in Las Vegas.  The Asteroid is an estimated 680 meters (0.4 miles), and is expected to pass Earth at a distance of about 745,000 miles (1.2 million km) on January 26 (That's about 3 times the distance between the Earth and the Moon).  This will be the closest Asteroid of this size to come this close to Earth until 2027.
