I'm with you for most of these. Great post. I've always been curious about #3 and particularly the possibility of staggering people's work hours. Of course, the problem comes when you need to work with other people to get your own job done. That said, for service economy stuff -- like getting my clothes dry cleaned, dropping off packages at the post office, and so forth -- I wonder why more competitors haven't tried shifting work during "normal" off hours
I definitely relate to this! The way my husband and I combat this is that his work is during the second shift, so we get errands done during "normal hours" and then do our work while everyone else is off work or asleep.
