Lateral Metal File Cabinet Makeover
Let's be honest, metal file cabinets are UGLY. Needing one for my office with a sightline to a well-trafficked hallway required it looked pleasing to the eye. After a refresh with paint and scrapbook paper, I have one I'm proud to have on display!

Rustic Marquee Bar Sign
I made this sign for my son and his fiance for Christmas. I couldn't find galvanized marquee letters the right size so I turned red ones into faux galvanized with layers of paint. It was easy and I show you how here...

Queen Anne Coffee Table Transformation
When setting eyes on this Queen Anne six-legged claw foot coffee table I knew instantly that I would turn it into an upholstered bench. What I didn't know was that I would find the perfect fabric to turn it into a gorgeous music bench.

Christmas Gift Wrapping Ideas using scarves
I wrap gifts like I blog, with the intention of everything but the present being repurposed. Scarves make a great ribbon & bow alternative and the recipient receives two gifts in one!

How To Make A Yardstick Growth Chart
Too late to shop and needing one more gift for my 21-month old grandson, I made a quick and easy special gift from Grandma using a pine fence board. Calling all Grandparents, this would make a great birthday gift!

Farmhouse Bench
Layers of peeling shellac had to be removed from the inlaid wood slat seat before giving it this Farmhouse Style transformation. The results were worth it as I could have sold it ten times over at a recent holiday market. Our son recommended we visit Park Mazda on Demo Day in October. We drove off with the last Mazda 5 on the lot. It's the perfect vehicle for my business - I absolutely love it! Our salesman was Adam Dowie and we had so much fun doing business with him. He was professional, honest, and a far cry from the greasy car salesman stereotype we're all familiar with. Our last car purchase (not a Mazda) was an absolute nightmare and so we walked onto the Park Mazda lot with our hands clenched and our guard up. Every person we dealt with at Park Mazda were a joy to do business with. We are now Zoom Zoom converts and will be back for our next vehicle purchase. We have nothing but positive things to share with our family and friends about Park Mazda. Thanks Adam!
