How about this one? Anyone used this to make or play games? Also from Maker Faire.

It came out probably 3 years ago. Download was big but could be different now. Most educators who were the ambitious type took a quick look at it but went back into OpenSim or Second Life because of the community. But always worth another look from the tech and community side.

My niece showed it to me once and I downloaded it but can't even remember why it didn't keep my attention nor hers any further so I deleted it. Didn't even remember that it was user created. That actually sounds really interesting.

Annika's bunny ear hat at Maker Faire...I love that the (accurate) assumption at +Maker Faire  is that the little girl made the wiggling ears. First question is not "Where did you get that?" or even "Did you make that?" but rather "How are you controlling the ears?"

What a cute little bunny!  Looking forward to Halloween!  (Maybe some "contract" work for the guild?  I'd love something live action. As a fan of vampire fiction how about a cape that moves?)

Now there's research to support what's obvious at a glance: Wuzzit trouble teaches math through real gameplay.

Third graders played for just 10 minutes per day, 3 days a week, for four weeks. The comparison group’s class received the same materials and the same instruction, but didn’t play the game. The result of playing was a staggering 20.5% improvement after just two hours of self-guided play. Of course, [...]
