10th Annual Uncorked Wine Festival.
This coming weekend is Mother's Day, this will be my first Mother's Day back home since 2012. I can't wait to spend it with my family and make new memories. Speaking of weekend, what are your plans? Last weekend we took a family bike ride around Los Gatos. ...

Para las familias que "cruzamos el charco" o sea, que nos mudamos a Estados Unidos, es vital que procuremos que nuestros hijos lean en español. ¿Por qué? Lean los beneficios que tiene la lectura en español: http://bit.ly/1DwLsYO

Swimming is the FUNnest Sport!
Before walking, before crawling, my mother enrolled me in swimming lessons. Back in the late 70s it wasn't very common to have babies learn to swim, however in the spring/summer of 2006 it was very common to join a mommy & baby class at the local recreation... #Sponsored #FunnestSport #SwimToday

I still remember the moment and day I took this photo. I had just picked up the kids from school, we were still living in #CostaRica  and I decided to take a shortcut home -too much traffic everywhere! and we knew that in just a few moments the rain would pour on us. The combination of colors and textures, well I just had to stop and take this picture. At that very moment we didn't know we would be moving back home to the U.S. in just a couple of months. To have this moment captured, brings back all the fun adventures we had while living as #expats

Would we do it again? Of course we would!
Did we learn from our expat experience? So much, we are always sharing the lessons and experiences tied to them.
Is there anything we would change about it? Absolutely! Just like any other experience lived, you learn from it and reflect on how you would've handled some situations differently.

We are thankful for the experience and opportunity that was given to us and continue to cherish the memories from it.

It's the change of seasons in California and you know what that means? We could easily have the "4 seasons of the year in one day", it's true. You wake up to 50ºF weather and throughout the day the temperature varies up to mi...
