B&G Property Maintenance was recommended to me by a neighbor. We had so much work to be done to our lawn, and B&G was able to do it all! They removed trees for us, beautified our landscape, and sprayed our hedges for whitefly. And their service was quick, professional, and affordable. We were very happy with them and will use them again.

The Takarada clan from locally loved World Resource Cafe strike gold again! I just got back from a delish meal here and everything — from the ambience to the service to the cuisine — was entirely on point. Plates not to be missed included the salmon sashimi, rock shrimp tempura salad and chow fun noodles. There's something to be said of the decor and outdoor seating here, too — the bamboo garden located in the backyard will whisk you away to a faraway place. Love that!

South Miami-based boutique Studio LX pulled the ultimate Miami move — they got a facelift, nip and tuck. The results? Gorgeous. No botched job here! Open since ’95, Studio LX is a SoFla staple for hip and trendy women’s clothing and accessories. Located on Sunset Drive, Studio LX’s neighbors include Capretto Shoes, Peace Love World and Sushi Maki. The new look? Studio LX went from a black and damask motif to a minimalist all-white palette replete with soft lighting, industrial fixtures and contemporary display cases. So chic! Scoop up labels such as Rebecca Taylor, Joie, Mara Hoffman, Feel the Piece, Indah, Alexis, Shape Up and more. With clothing, workout gear, bikinis and accessories under one roof, Studio LX is a one-stop shop for the fashion-forward femme fatale.

I'm a mom of two and really into fashion. With that said, I hate dressing my run-of-the-mill toddler duds out there -- you know what I'm talking about -- Laura Ashley-esque smocked dresses, frilly gowns, cheesy headbands, you get the idea. So being the hard-core trendtracker that I am, I scoured the streets of Miami for the coolest kid's clothing and my number one pick is this store. Why? This place has kitschy clothes like tees that read "Mothersucker" or "Will Work For Milk." As far as nursery decor is concerned, they've got bedding by Dwell Baby and Serena and Lilly. I really love their diaper bag selection, too. Did I mention they sell strollers? Yep, there's a Quinny in store. Blinged-out pacifiers, designer bibs and Bugaboo seat covers can also be found here. New moms can also create a registry here -- they even have toys, games, furniture, rugs, video monitors and the like. So if you, too, are a with-it mom or just need to buy a really unique gift, swing by Nini & Loli. It's right on the money, baby.

I recently got hair extensions and funky nail art at Salon Vaso and was nothing short of ECSTATIC with the end results. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to hair and nails and Natalia (hair) and Ginger (nails) killed it. The price can't be beat, either. Also of note? $25 blowouts on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. #TotesAmaze

A spate of yoga classes? Check. Make-ya-melt-like-butta massages? Check. Yummy grub and poolside drinks? Check, check. Whenever I need to mentally checkout from the real world a jaunt to The Standard is in order. I also adore the life coaching classes here and am currently enrolled in the "Creative Journey" where I'm learning how to tap into my inner creative genius. I've also tried the 5-day juice fast and that was interesting to say the least. Another must try? H2-Om Fridays where for $30, guests can take a yoga class and bliss out in the hamam afterward. Om-mazing!

OBSESSED with this beauty chain. It is WAY better than Sally Beauty Supply and carries lots of chi chi brands like Archipelago candles, Crabtree & Evelyn body creams, Essie nail polishes and literally thousands of other beauty brands. I come here specifically for their Pergo ceramic round brushes -- without this tool, my at-home blow-outs would be a frightening mess! I like the fact that this particular location has tons of FREE parking unlike the Miracle Mile shop. The people who work here are very insightful and nice, which is also a plus.
