Marketing used to be kind of easy, see a need, find a product that fixed the need, spend some money, make sure the customer thinks of you when they are making a buy decision or anytime really, just get your name out there and into their mind
On that thought:
and with that intent I set up my blog to pop out t-shirts, random quotes, fun poems, parts of my diaries on exploring (hey I go exploring, I never, ever, get lost!) my current homework, sarcastic fairies, cute beagle posts etc etc, and for sure, I share it up to G+ when ever I get a second, adverts adverts adverts flying out into this reality, on the t-shirts to wall art with thongs, funny books etc that I was trying to sell...
which results in me dashing in and out of hear like a darn yo yo, which (a) is slightly nauseating from my point of view and (b) must be irritating as hell to all those good folks who are online for a logical period of time.
So in the theory that marketing is now about having a conversation, which to me, implies having the time to actually listen to the other person and get to know them............... and frankly all my sales generated via G+ have come from people who I was just hanging out getting to know them (it totally surprised me when they went off and purchased something)
I hope to see you online in a reality that I can spend some time online with you and actually get to know you.............
and on that decision I leave you with my philosophy on life
and a note from my heart to yours
I really hope to see you in that alternative reality
