Please read the whole thing before judging!
Gain a deeper understanding of what's really going on with your Google and your SEO by stepping away from causation for a moment and focusing on correlation. Rand explains.

More Google focus on mobile.

You can use Google to search for just about anything and get answers in a flash. But, when you’re searching on your phone, a slow connection can really hold things up.

To make sure you’re not waiting on Google when you need it most, we’ve rolled out a streamlined Search results page that loads fast, even on those slow connections. You’ll get all the info you need in a simpler format that’s beautiful and easy to use. Best of all: there’s nothing new to download or update -- the lighter version will kick in automatically when needed!

Where to put those social icons? At the top, of course!
How many websites have you been to where you’re searching for social media buttons and just can’t find them? Then, it’s not until you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page that you see them nestled in the footer. Sometimes, they’re so tiny they might as well not even be there …

A hidden jewel in Seahurst with world-class cuisine. Add to that a hands-on chef with character - and a curly moustache - who may visit you at your table. The restaurant is small, so book early.

This building was originally constructed in 1901, giving it a Pioneer Square-ish feel, but it's a gem with great steak, wonderful draft beer choices, great wine list, and they do a good job on the steamed vegetables, too. They don't take reservations, so plan to sign the wait list early.

This little six table restaurant in Wallingford packs a wallop. Every course in our five course meal was incredible. Unbelievably delicious food, served with wine pairings if you wish, with great personal service that doesn't hurry you a bit. I can forgive the decor for such an amazing taste treat. Make reservations well in advance and bring your friends.

This is THE place to go for coffee in the Renton Highlands. Great coffee drinks, good food choices, lots of plug-ins for the laptop, comfy chairs and magazines, and a welcoming manager. What more do you need?
