LOL. Well. DONE.

And they say Germans don't have a sense of humor...
In preparation for an upcoming neo-Nazi march in the small Bavarian town of Wunsiedel, local residents decided to fight back in a hilariously perfect way.

good anecdotal info here.

This 19-year-old author nails my feelings about Facebook to a T: "an awkward family dinner party we can't really leave." An interesting read and a good reminder that teens still want social media to be social.

wow. such in-depth stats! are all game devs so detailed? of particular note was the revenue comparison by platform (ouya/google play - free/google play - paid/fire tv/desktop/etc.)

It took a while, but I've finally finished the post about stats from the 1st year of my game Twin Robots

If you are interested in knowing how many robots have died, how many have been saved, what's the revenue per platform and a lot other things, read on! :)

#android #ouya #firetv #gamestick #androidtv #windows #mac #linux
I've been gathering all type of analytics data since Twin Robots was first released back on December 21st, 2013. Now that a significant time has passed, let's have a look at some of it! There is quite a bit of content, so I've categorized it in a way that (I hope) makes a bit of sense.

One of the main drawbacks when using an electric car is the lack of charging points around the city.

But there could be light at the end of the tunnel according to the founders of German start-up Ubitricity, who have come up with the bright idea of fitting charging sockets onto lamp posts.

The concept is currently being tested on around 100 lamp posts across Berlin.

The technical innovation lies in the actual charging cable, which incorporates its own electricity meter. The socket on the lamp post is relatively basic and simple to install. Drivers simply bring their own charging cable with them.

The counter tots up the amount of power used and the customer is directly billed for his or her electricity consumption.

I will be moderating a roundtable on social media (and online advertising) at the upcoming CASE V conference in Chicago and am putting together some discussion points in case I need to jumpstart the conversation at any point.

Hoping to get a little help from some friends here to flesh out this list: If you had the opportunity to sit down and talk social media/online advertising with your fellow HE colleagues over lunch, what would you want to talk about?

If you are reading this--RUN. Run as fast as you can out the door, get in your car and go to one of the other locations (South Elgin or Dundee Avenue, Elgin). The food was bland and tasteless at best, the service rude, the facility/atmosphere trashy (and not in the "i'm a fun, dive-y old fixture of the community that's been serving you chicago-style italian beef and more for decades" sort of way). you have been warned.
