No sure, revealing the way surveillance works is an effective tool for state terrorism. It will gradually erode resistance if it happens all the time. The TSA is a good example of that.

Ah, it is accessible... nice read :-). But sadly it is very true. If you have nothing to maintain on your computer, then why do you even have it?

No, it's an old tradition in this part of The Netherlands to build 40ft high wood stacks and set them on fire at sunset on Pasover Easter sunday. They want to make it illegal but no succes yet :-)

Introducing "How Linux is Built." Based on the annual report "Who Writes Linux," this is a powerful and inspiring story of how Linux has become a volunteer-driven phenomenon.

Editors aren't traitors, writers aren't terrorists — and it's time for the UK to wake up.

For more than 30 years, the realm of computing has been intrinsically linked to the humble hard drive. Given our exceedingly heavy reliance on hard drives, and their key role in the expansion of personal computing and cloud storage, it's very, very weird that one piece of vital information still eludes us: How long does a hard drive last?

Microsoft will report a loss for Q4? Surely that will mean Ballmer exit?

The very authentic material and coloring style of this pottery makes it unique and very attractive. We first saw it in a hotel nearby where we often stayed and asked the address. The shop is run by the couple that started it years ago and has very nice atmosphere. Take note that the shop in Domodossola is not open anymore, instead the shop is now next to the workshop in Crevoladossola, via Garribaldi.

A beautifull classic hotel on the border of the Lago Maggiore, next to the boat-station. Very well decorated generous rooms, refined service and ultra quiet. Has it's own garage. The location alone is worth a journey. Recommended.
