Kickers just got an email warning them to avoid "contrived compassion" this week. Will you fall prey?

Join here and we'll forward this week's email to you too: http://bit.ly/1wssXpp
Busy nonprofit executive directors and board members already know they need to ask people for money. Fundraising Kick helps them get out there and do it!

If you're putting all your nonprofit's eggs in one social media basket, you're going to be in trouble.

This is why i ALWAYS start my social media training with building your email list. As frustrating as FB can be, nonprofits who relied on it for all of their communication were (and are) being irresponsible. Donors deserve better.

Facebook's News Feed changes have been "catastrophic" for non profits

Good morning! Would you help me choose a cover?

The explanation of the ebook is below. I'd love to know which cover you prefer, if either, and why or why not.

*Could you help?*People who sign up for the free Ask Without Fear! email newsletter, get a free ebook with this title: "21 Ways for Board Members to Engage with Their Nonprofit's Fundraising."

We think it needs a cover. Which do you prefer?

Thanks everyone. These comments - and those on Facebook - helped inform a new design. I'm not sure how to upload the image here...but it's visible in the right column over at http://thenonprofitacademy.com/.

This post by +Tom Ahern shows you the least expensive way to keep donors...it's related to those address labels some nonprofits send!

Really!

...and suddenly you'll be hearing from visitors about their experiences! It's easy to install (they say). And incredibly revealing to learn from visitors that, for instance, your monthly giving offer is confusing or they didn't get the part about how to honor someone with their gift.

Dedicated to making it ridiculously easy to get fundraising training
Introduction
An international fundraising trainer, Marc A. Pitman is the author of Ask Without Fear!® and founder of FundraisingCoach.com, a website dedicated to practical ideas for fundraising more effectively.

Marc’s experience also includes planting and pastoring a Vineyard church, managing a gubernatorial campaign, teaching internet marketing at Thomas College and co-creating 100 Donors in 90 Days.

He is the husband of his best friend and the father of three amazing kids. And if you see him drive by, he’ll probably be singing 80’s tunes loud enough to embarrass his family.

Marc can be reached at marc@fundraisingcoach.com or at (800) 694-7430. You can sign up for his free bi-weekly email newsletter focused on nonprofit fundraising by visiting: http://fundraisingcoach.com/subscribe/

On Google+, he also has a FundraisingCoach.com page and an Ask Without Fear! page.
