I'm not sure how LeadPages became a leader in teaching tips on Facebook advertising, but I learn a lot from them.

And they're giving a free training this coming Thursday!

I've learned ALOT about Facebook advertising from the LeadPages team. And now they're doing a 1-time LIVE training Thursday about what's really working today! Check it out at: http://bit.ly/1HL84uJ [aff link]

One if the biggest distractions in nonprofit fundraising is aiming for younger donors. +Jeff Brooks brilliantly plays that out in this post.

Read it, chuckle, and get back to real fundraising.
There's a new generation of powerhouse donors coming onto the scene, and they are going to change everything about fundraising. It's Generation Wah -- the incredible generation of super-donors, defined as those born since 2013. Let me be frank with you: If you do not jump aboard the Generation Wah train right now, you are up a terrible creek in a concrete canoe, without a paddle and no life jacket! Your rescue line: My hot-off-the-press white pap...

I LOVE THIS POST

Nonprofit fundraisers: are you being arrogant, immature, or effective at fundraising?

+Jeff Brooks shows you the difference here, like:
"Holding off from publically whining about your organization's problems while fundraising is not 'manipulating the truth.' It's being mature and aware of your audience."

Frustrated fundraisers sometimes blame donors for their pain http://bit.ly/18ZEMuz

Introduction
An international fundraising trainer, Marc A. Pitman is the author of Ask Without Fear!® and founder of FundraisingCoach.com, a website dedicated to practical ideas for fundraising more effectively.

Marc’s experience also includes planting and pastoring a Vineyard church, managing a gubernatorial campaign, teaching internet marketing at Thomas College and co-creating 100 Donors in 90 Days.

He is the husband of his best friend and the father of three amazing kids. And if you see him drive by, he’ll probably be singing 80’s tunes loud enough to embarrass his family.

Marc can be reached at marc@fundraisingcoach.com or at (800) 694-7430. You can sign up for his free bi-weekly email newsletter focused on nonprofit fundraising by visiting: http://fundraisingcoach.com/subscribe/

On Google+, he also has a FundraisingCoach.com page and an Ask Without Fear! page.
