As I fasten my seat belt to watch the general election unfolds, I am reminded of Jason and the Argonauts, a 1963 movie I watched when I was a little boy in Macau. Some of the most formidable creatures were the ones with multiple facets: the skeletons and the six-headed hydra. You couldn't fight them one on one. They would come at you all at once or one after another. If one died, another one took its place. It was a fight to exhaustion. All presidential candidates have to have that ability, to morph into multiple personalities, to speak from both sides of their mouth, to be whomever you want them to be. Obama has that down to an art form. Romney needs to stop playing Obama's game and to be reminded that Jason didn't triumph by playing defensive.
