It was an awesome hotel, located in the middle of town served by southern hospitality. They used a brand new Mercedes GL450 free shuttle to pick me up from the airport without charging me a penny! It has a popular restaurant in front of the Hotel. I always park my car right in front of the room, loading and unloading lugage is so simple and effortless! Free Breakfast was served as early as 6AM with free coffee all day and night while I am doing my internet or remote office at their business center without charge for printing. All kind of stores, bars and restaurants are within walking distance or located at the next block. Wifi is free and it seems fast enough for playing netflix or youtube. The swimming pool is open until 11PM. The maids always clean the room from 2-4pm. Everything is work here, not like any other hotel that always has A/C problem or Sport TV unavailable

They charged my card for 129.00 for 2 nights after my wife gave then 100 dollars an told the to take the rest of my card. Simple mistake Humm, after asking them to return the money to my card they said it would be returned immediately. Still hasn't happened and we are getting a run-around. Ssoooo not happening again.

I normally stay at a cheap hotel when I am out of town. As long as it has a bed for me to sleep and a coffee pot, I'm easy to please. Until now. The first thing I noticed upon entering my room was that it had hard tile floor instead of carpet. Not a big fan of that. It also had no coffee pot. The girl at the front desk said they have not put coffee pots in all the rooms because of the renovations. I honestly couldn't tell if my room was awaiting renovations or had already been renovated. After a while they found me a pot and some coffee. Not sure if the water was bad or the coffee was bad, but I've never tasted something so horrible. There was also no secondary lock on the door which I love to use to keep housekeeping from opening the door or anyone else. I have yet to find a sign to put on the door to tell housekeeping to let me sleep. Today is my second day here and the noise was so bad from the neighboring room that I had to request to be moved. In all fairness, the room had a door to adjoin the room next to it, and the noise penetrated that door. So I have moved to a new room, leaving the coffee pot in the old room. The new room is identical to the last. The bottom of the door scrapes the tile floor and is real loud, so I have to hold the door up when I open it. When you leave, you can't turn the door knob from the outside to quietly shut the door, so you have to kind of slam it to get it to shut. I tried to use the microwave to pop some popcorn, but when I went to plug it in the wall, the plug was spliced and the wires just twisted onto the cord. All wires exposed, not even wire nuts on them. I won't be having popcorn tonight. Two of the three lamps don't work, possibly the bulbs are burned out. There is an ironing board but no iron. The fridge has something gross all over the handle so I'm not touching it. There is trash on the ground outside that could be cleaned up. There is no exercise room either. The front desk guy, Clint, was very nice and fixed me a large pot of coffee up there at the front, so I am heading up there and grabbing a couple of cups every hour or so and bringing it back to my room. I can say that I have not noticed any bugs. That's good. Like I said, my standards are pretty low at hotels, but I won't be staying here again. I hope my internet doesn't go out again before I hit the publish button for this review. Update: I was brought a new microwave to my room as well as a coffee pot and some new coffee. And the new room is quiet. If you are looking for just a place to sleep and take a shower, then this place is a pretty good deal. Except for the fridge door, the rooms have been clean.

Dont Stay Here, They are Rude, Rude, Rude.. I called 3 hours ahead of time to see about getting a room to sleep, and was advised that they did but i'd have to check out at noon and it was like $50. I asked if there was any way to extend to noon the next day since that would mean i was only getting to sleep for less than 4hours. He said yes but it would 80 instead, I said that was fine..I arrived at 8a and I told her, that i had called a few hours ago, told her what the guy said, and the girl at the Front was not only rude to me but pratically called me a Liar!! She wanted me to pay $80 til Noon and then $80 again for noon the next day.. I was like Thats Jus Crazy.. and I left, went down the road to La Quinta, They were Friendly..

The room was clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. The WiFi actually worked and had decent bandwidth. It is an older building but has been updated and the price seals the value. The free breakfast consists of cereal, waffles and other bread/pastry items as well as orange juice and milk.

I have been to various places and this is definitely one of the very finest stay that I have had in recent past. The rooms are very neat and clean. Those are equipped with basic amenities and everything from coffee-maker to microwave was new. Our room was quiet and the internet access was fast. There was not a single issue to complain about. The staff is courteous. Just let them know and they go out of their way to help you. The hotel is located at a very convenient location. There is a Kroger and almost all major restaurants in near vicinity. It is also on A&M bus route. Highly recommended. Five out of five!

Stayed in room 141. Room looked very good and was clean. However it was not til the evening that we noticed all the baby cock roaches all over the place. I went to work in the morning and my girlfriend was in the room relaxing reading a book when a roach crawled up her leg. She reported this to the lady at the front desk and she said since we did not report it that night she would not refund any of our money but would give us partial refund for the 2nd night and a new room. Reason I did not report it that night was because we were exhausted and did not want to deal with changing rooms or finding a better hotel. The lady also claimed that this is the first time she has heard of the roaches. We get a new room, there are bigger cock roaches dead in the room and room service shows up 5 minutes later with a can of RAID saying they been dealing with this for awhile. When my girlfriend went to get the refund from the office she recorded the conversion the lady at the front desk. She told my girlfriend that she is just looking for issues with these rooms and was just downright rude the whole time. We got a refund for the 2nd night and half back on the 1st night. I suggest if you do not want roaches packing up in your bags and going home with you to avoid staying at this place and spending a little more money to stay somewhere else. BTW the woman's name at the front desk is Anna.
