Stayed in room 141. Room looked very good and was clean. However it was not til the evening that we noticed all the baby cock roaches all over the place. I went to work in the morning and my girlfriend was in the room relaxing reading a book when a roach crawled up her leg. She reported this to the lady at the front desk and she said since we did not report it that night she would not refund any of our money but would give us partial refund for the 2nd night and a new room. Reason I did not report it that night was because we were exhausted and did not want to deal with changing rooms or finding a better hotel. The lady also claimed that this is the first time she has heard of the roaches. We get a new room, there are bigger cock roaches dead in the room and room service shows up 5 minutes later with a can of RAID saying they been dealing with this for awhile. When my girlfriend went to get the refund from the office she recorded the conversion the lady at the front desk. She told my girlfriend that she is just looking for issues with these rooms and was just downright rude the whole time. We got a refund for the 2nd night and half back on the 1st night. I suggest if you do not want roaches packing up in your bags and going home with you to avoid staying at this place and spending a little more money to stay somewhere else. BTW the woman's name at the front desk is Anna.

I normally stay at a cheap hotel when I am out of town. As long as it has a bed for me to sleep and a coffee pot, I'm easy to please. Until now. The first thing I noticed upon entering my room was that it had hard tile floor instead of carpet. Not a big fan of that. It also had no coffee pot. The girl at the front desk said they have not put coffee pots in all the rooms because of the renovations. I honestly couldn't tell if my room was awaiting renovations or had already been renovated. After a while they found me a pot and some coffee. Not sure if the water was bad or the coffee was bad, but I've never tasted something so horrible. There was also no secondary lock on the door which I love to use to keep housekeeping from opening the door or anyone else. I have yet to find a sign to put on the door to tell housekeeping to let me sleep. Today is my second day here and the noise was so bad from the neighboring room that I had to request to be moved. In all fairness, the room had a door to adjoin the room next to it, and the noise penetrated that door. So I have moved to a new room, leaving the coffee pot in the old room. The new room is identical to the last. The bottom of the door scrapes the tile floor and is real loud, so I have to hold the door up when I open it. When you leave, you can't turn the door knob from the outside to quietly shut the door, so you have to kind of slam it to get it to shut. I tried to use the microwave to pop some popcorn, but when I went to plug it in the wall, the plug was spliced and the wires just twisted onto the cord. All wires exposed, not even wire nuts on them. I won't be having popcorn tonight. Two of the three lamps don't work, possibly the bulbs are burned out. There is an ironing board but no iron. The fridge has something gross all over the handle so I'm not touching it. There is trash on the ground outside that could be cleaned up. There is no exercise room either. The front desk guy, Clint, was very nice and fixed me a large pot of coffee up there at the front, so I am heading up there and grabbing a couple of cups every hour or so and bringing it back to my room. I can say that I have not noticed any bugs. That's good. Like I said, my standards are pretty low at hotels, but I won't be staying here again. I hope my internet doesn't go out again before I hit the publish button for this review. Update: I was brought a new microwave to my room as well as a coffee pot and some new coffee. And the new room is quiet. If you are looking for just a place to sleep and take a shower, then this place is a pretty good deal. Except for the fridge door, the rooms have been clean.

Loved my stay at Manor inn, it's a great centralized and safe location, very nice and understanding management, as well as a clean environment (rooms). It is everything you need for such low rates, I have stayed in many other hotels in the Bryan/College Station area, and by far this has been the best experience. Definitely will continue using them as my go to hotel in the BCS area, and definitely recommend to everyone!

While the photos and reviews I found online were good, I am not at all impressed. I had to come to College Station for a week and Manor Inn seemed like a decent motel. It is rated a 2 star motel so I was not concerned. However, when I got into my room I was immediately unhappy. The room was recently "remodeled" meaning they poorly painted the walls while leaving paint spatter everywhere. The floors are tile which is not a big deal, but not really what I like. There is not secondary latch on the door, just a deadbolt. The walls are terrible, patched holes, cracks, scratches, dirty and so on. There is mold is the bathroom, no water pressure either making showers hard. The water is never cold. The ice bucket had hair in it as well. The walls are paper thin so you will hear your neighbors. I was unlucky enough to have an out of town construction crew using the 2-3 rooms next to me. Every night they partied and were obnoxious and drunk.(Not the motels fault). There is no coffee pot in the room. That to me was the worst part. There was coffee in the morning in the lobby, but had tiny cups and no lids. The lobby is really nice, but thats it. The pool is dirty and dingy looking. There is trash all over the lot and in the "breezeways". The parking lot gets overly full and two days in a row I could not open my car door because the spots are small and people cannot seem to park. The floors are dirty, dust all over, its just plain crummy. In 5 days the cleaning crew has came 2 times. I also have seen 2 roaches in my room. It just seems like cheaply renovated dump. Being financially tight on this trip, I have toughed it out. I have stayed in a lot of "cheaper", lower rated motels and they were far better than here. I will never come here again. If you have low standards then this is the place. I believed all the good reviews and those people must have low standards.

I have been to various places and this is definitely one of the very finest stay that I have had in recent past. The rooms are very neat and clean. Those are equipped with basic amenities and everything from coffee-maker to microwave was new. Our room was quiet and the internet access was fast. There was not a single issue to complain about. The staff is courteous. Just let them know and they go out of their way to help you. The hotel is located at a very convenient location. There is a Kroger and almost all major restaurants in near vicinity. It is also on A&M bus route. Highly recommended. Five out of five!

Both our kids are in school in the area and had work or pet responsibilities so we decided to come to them for Christmas. We really just needed a place to lay our heads that was clean so chose not to book with some of the pricier chains. I had seen a price published online but wanted to confirm with a live person on location. I called and they honored the price. We were pleasantly surprized with the room. It was very large and had a couch, desk area, frig and micro. Shoot, with that I can cook Christmas dinner! Everything was very clean and altho it is an older building it has been updated with attention to newer trends. It is a great location with tons of restaurants around. All the staff was VERY friendly. We had to leave a day earlier than expected and I thot they may not credit back the prepaid charges since that was part of why I got the great deal but they took the msg and the next day a manager called me and said they would indeed credit back one night. I would def stay there again should the need arize. Very positive experience!!!

I was not impressed at all with this hotel. The price was extremely to high. I went to breakfast and there is no meat. and I went to the lobby to get a couple of copies and they charged me on top of the hundred and fifteen a night. People were constantly outside looking like cops staring at me every time I left the room. Finally there is trash and baskets everywhere in the parking lot.
