See our new paper in PLoS One on inhibition of histone phosphorlyation by Lestaurtinib.

PRK1 had been shown by R. Schüle to be a coactivator of the androgen receptor. We now show together with him and W. Sippl that the clinical candidate Lestaurtinib also inhibits #PRK1 potently and blocks histone phosphorylation and #androgen responsive gene transcription in cancer cells. Therefore, it should affect #epigenetic regulation.
