I've had to disable QUIC. I'm on a wireless ISP whose connection is latent and bursty. I found g+ and hangout on gmail always had problems when I opened chrome and its 20 tabs and it tried to go load them all. I'm having a much better experience with http2.

"To be sure, the value of the $35 USD Raspberry Pi 2 computer is extended when free USB keyboards and mice are available. There is a role, then, for schools, libraries, and makerspaces to collect these donated items in order to redistribute them to those who need them."
In this article, I'll share some ideas for how schools, libraries, and makerspaces can similarly expand access to open source hardware.

I just got my Pi 2, imported so it cost me what would be $60, and that's with no casing or SDcard or micro USB cable - just the board. I think it's great that the foundation themselves are keeping cost on the device at a minimum, but import duties etc on them should also be null, IMO.

Letter arrived this morning in a plastic bag with "we are very sorry that this item has reached you in this condition". The postman, obviously feeling that the damage had already been done forced it through our admittedly tight letter box.

It doesn't happen often though so not complaining.

Poor chap on eBay that sold me this has just made a full refund for the 2 x 3D printer 6M x 3mm throats/barrels.
Sadly one is missing and I'll get a refund from the PO for this.
Looks like it was kicked around a wet playground.
Can't complain tho as this has never happened before so a big up to the  Post Office.
Must give the seller his money back now and congratulate him on great service.

I've spent so much time at tech events in Europe recently that "did a good speech" has become normal English for me.

"Deliverymen devolved a skilled technique for stacking towers of soba noodle bowls and then carrying them on a bike to places like universities where they had frequent customers. Astonishingly, some of these photos are from soba shops that are still in business today!"
Nowadays when we order takeout we open an app, push a few buttons and 30 minutes later someone shows up on a motorcycle with your food. But in the olden days in Japan it was obviously a bit different. Demae, which literally means “to go in front of” is thought to have originated as early as

Take your #BigData to new places with Google BigQuery.

Google BigQuery has many new features and is now available in European zones. These improvements were designed to extend BigQuery's performance and capabilities and give you greater peace-of-mind and control over your data. http://goo.gl/jLDXe7

() Big Data comes up frequently in data management. Harnessing Big Data can lead businesses to all sorts of insights that could make them more efficient and more profitable. The only problem is that using Big Data can be quite the arduous undertaking when it comes to resource management and system administration.
