So the UK is to get Android Pay within the next few months.
This is excellent news. Now time to have some serious words with my bank. They either jump on board, or I'm switching to a bank that cares about innovation!

Speedy updates from the feedback they received, with more to come. 👌

G+ Web Preview Update
As promised, we're continuing to listen and respond to feedback on the new Google+.

Today we're launching a number of updates to our Web preview including:
- Adding a 3 column stream view for very wide screens
- Adding the ability to reply to comments in context
- Removing the limit on circle streams in the menu (previously 6)
- Adding the option to view 'Posts from Circle' from the Following screen

These changes (which you can see in the image below) will be rolling out today. And look for more updates on Android, iOS, and the Web soon. Thanks~

Overseeing a large amount of the content delivered on the website, this includes: Ensuring product specification and description data is valid, accurate, is correctly formatted and adheres to the company standards. This also goes for video content, as it is my responsibility to have all video quality checked and that our Maplin brand is visible. I then embed the videos to the corresponding product pages. Making sure new retail stores are on the website and any subtle alterations/relocations/renovations are updated on the website. This is done by liaising with store & regional managers, as well as the project manager and retail manager to collate all necessary information; once this is gathered it is my job to implement these changes so they are live on the site. I also manage the expansion of our Shutl enabled stores across all regions. Responding to ticket issues that cover a wide variety of issues surrounding content on the website, whether it be an issue that I fix or one which would need involvement from other departments within the office, all action has to be logged and updated via our ticketing system. Finally, I attend meetings and conference calls to give and receive updates from various departments within our retail division and teams within our offices in London and Rotherham. Dependant on these updates, an action plan or various tasks/goals will be put into place to further improve content on the web.

Introduction
I'm a geek. I spend quite a bit of time researching mobile platforms and different coding languages.

Aside from the geeky side I also love to street dance and perform from time to time. I have many other hobbies which would take forever to list.

One major thing is that I'd love to travel and see the world, hopefully sometime in the near future I'll be able to do so!

This almost sounds like a dating profile or something... How can you write a "Introduction" without it sounding like an advert in matchdotcom?!

Great place, I stopped here for lunch and had the smashed avocado on sour bread toast - told them to throw a couple of mushrooms on there, too. Tasted great 👌. Service was top dog, they looked after me in the brief time I was there. The look and atmosphere of this place is also really nice. Unfortunately I didn't have any of the apparently fantastic coffee! But I'll definitely be having my lunch here again at some point so will be sure to give it a sample.

Was alright, had the buffet which is good value for money, pizza was almost always fresh too. The pizza itself was nice but the bread base is a little disappointing, nothing like the standards of other pizzerias like Dominos, in my opinion. The look and feel was quite modern. Another gripe, though, was that a few of the bowls weren't clean. Service was good, the staff were friendly and helped whenever we asked. In summary, it's a nice place and food is so so, but good value for money at £6.99 for the buffet, not sure if these prices change depending on time of day.

Meeting rooms are lovely jubbly. Coffee's are cool too. The lunch the hotel provided was swell and I liked the posh biscuits.

Got to say, the staff in this restaurant are top dog. Fantastic service and made the whole group feel welcome and comfortable. Food was delicious, too 👌. Cannot fault it. You can see the chefs working hard in the open kitchen (not hidden behind a wall or closed doors). They occasionally show of with a huge flambé causing the restaurant to feel likes it's just had a close encounter with the sun. My friend has a tendency to spend half his income on fine wine, so I sampled the good stuff and it was good stuff🍷. Also had a Peroni, can't not have a pint. All positives here - Superb evening 👍👍

Attended a wedding. The venue for the evening du was fab and the staff were brill despite the long hours and hard graft (albeit two of them never smiled). The buffet food was scrumptious and drinks were good from the function room bar. The nights stay was pleasant, nice "crash pad" with most things you'd expect; towels, shower gel, soap, hand cream, hairdryer, tea, coffee, etc. The TV was big (about 42"), never used it though. Breakfast served from 7am, there's a selection of pretty much everything. Full English is a must 👌. All in all, nice staff, easy and pleasant stay with a good brecky.

Haven't stayed here as of yet due to living in Doncaster, there's no real need. However they do nice coffee's in the bar.

As we approached the reception, we noticed that there were no humans, they had been replaced with computers where you check into the room yourself. Before we even approached the machines a voice to the side us said, "you wanting to check in guys". We said yes, he came over, asked our names, pressed the touch screen several times and wham; it spat out a receipt and our swipe cards. He gave us a 10 seconds overview of how the cards work in the building and which floor our room was on. We thanked him and he sat back down to the side. We got up to the room which was really nice, everything was in order and couldn't fault anything. Even the temperature was lovely 👌. You get everything you'd expect in a hotel room (coffee, tea, hairdryer, cups, towels, extra pillows, TV, tin of sardines etc) but with additional things such as shower gel and a soap dispenser in the bathroom which was nice as I forgot my own shower gel. Checkout process was cool beans too, went to the reception area and dropped my card into this see through box, then I was gone. In summary, great place to stay. The ease of use of those check in machines has to be questioned though. If a security guard has to do it all for you it's not really "self check in", and what he was tapping seemed too fast to follow. It would have been great if he gave us the chance to try do it ourselves, then become batman and rescue us from these complex machine villains when we fail and start having a mental breakdown.
