Now I don't live in the US and I also don't own Glass, but how do we solve this issue?? Especially when I'm hoping to get Glass in the future.
They are banning this device because their patrons and/or don't want to feel like they are being recorded. Now this is obviously ridiculous, as stated before by other Google+ users, these patrons and bar owners clearly don't have enough knowledge of this technology to be thinking such things and enforcing these bans.
In my opinion, a good method to sort this issue (aside from Google intervening) is to actually secretly record in these bars using the smartphone. Maybe if multiple people do this it should show them that Glass is not the problem/issue here, it's so easy to slip your phone in the top pocket and record, or even hold it up, after all most people do this to text etc, people would be none the wiser.
I don't know, what do you think would solve this issue?? It's certainly frustrating that this hasn't even been released to the general public and already there's bans being thrown out.
