I was in contact with Main motors in Anoka MN for a new truck. I have purchased 4 trucks from them in the past and was looking for a High Country diesel 3/4 ton. I called and talked to Sinclair Hill and he had no information and seemed to not have a clue. Since I have bought vehicles in the past from Jeremy McFarland I contacted him. Jeremy put me in contact with Brian Rasmussen. They had me stop in to look at 2 different trucks. Brian and I talked about the truck I had wanted which he told me he would have to find. Later that day he called and said he had found a truck and would be talking to Jeremy in the morning and be giving me a call. Almost 3 weeks later he called me back to tell me he found a truck. I told him I had not received any calls from him in almost 3 weeks so I had to take my business elsewhere. He told me he was on vacation that is why it took so long. He and main motors must have too much money to give up a $60,000.00 sale.

I took my vehicle there after it was in an accident. They told me they'd have it ready in a week and it took over two weeks. While they were fixing it they told me I needed to replace all my tires. They refused to re-align the vehicle after the accident unless I bought new tires from them. I took it to Midas in Coon Rapids where I was able to get tires for hundreds of dollars cheaper, however they needed to order an adjustable arm with ball joint because the back tire was so far out of alignment. When I mentioned this to them they didn't believe it was related to the accident (the exact tire that was hit was the one out of alignment, all the other ones were fine). When it was this far out of alignment they should have looked at it before giving it back to me and at least gotten it close. I'm glad Midas took care of it for me. I picked up my vehicle last Tuesday, and one week later I still haven't been able to get my invoice from them detailing what they did to the vehicle. Don't take your vehicle their for maintenance service or repairs. I still have dashboard lights coming on from the accident that Main Motors did not fix. I will be letting my insurance company know not to work with Main Motors in Anoka in the future. **Update. Since the original review Main Motors sent me a copy of my invoice, offered to look into the light that continues to come on in my dash board and also offered me a free rental while they have it in the shop. I have chosen to go elsewhere at this point in time, but thought to mention the follow up they provided afterwards.

Happy with my service. I had a transmission shift cable installed last year under a safety recall. That part failed recently and Main Motors was able to replace it free of charge after speaking with General Motors.

Main Motors is bright and newly remodeled. I drove right up, waited in the waiting area with beverages and snacks, and they took care of everything for me. They were fast and efficient. No complaints!

When I came into main motors in Anoka, I worked with Ron Herman to find my first car. Upon arrival he had already picked out two cars that fit my criteria. He quickly got me out to the cars for test drives. The finance department worked hard to find someone willing to work with me on a loan. The entire time the whole team was positive and upbeat. They were friendly and provided the best experience for a first time car buyer! Both my parents and my cousin have bought vehicles at main motors. We will always continue to go to main motors because they treat well. Thank you to everyone at Main Motors Anoka!!

HORRIBLE place!!! mean and nasty! they treated me like dirt. Maybe it was because I was a single mother with 2 little girls with her or maybe because it was because we were Asian. I hate to use the to so called race card, but it was so blatant. I think they HATE kids. I don't know why my 6 and 8 year old girl were well behaved. The older blonde woman associate(KAREN CARLSON) was just so rude and disgusting to us and the younger male with brown hair was just down right horrible. he offered other guests treats and didn't offer us anything!! We have bought 2 vehicles from them in the past, but never again. I was looking to buy a minivan, but nope NEVER will I buy anything from this biased disgusting place. I also witnessed TOM Ward be rude to a a guy named michael and his wife telling them if they didn't buy a car from him they didn't deserve the free hotdogs and treats. Also the markup on the used vehicles here is ridiculous!! You can do better buying from a private party.STAY way from this place!!! One of the associates even told us "it was time go and that we had been there long enough" What a jerk . we were looking at the vans and at takes time, but I guess they didn't want our business. It seems like they only wanted to help people who looked "rich" and not help anyone else. There is a special place in H@@L for the guy who told my sweet little kids and me leave.He was disgusting we were just looking around and trying to have a good time.but what this guy did to us was uncalled for.

We had a 3 day Grand Opening event, which entails free food, entertainment, prizes, and lots of games for the kids like the inflatable bounce house. No purchase necessary! We had a great turnout from the event, in which case some people may not get the same amount of attention. I've purchased 3 new trucks in the past 4 years from Main Motors, and will be back there for my next one soon. I say this for multiple reasons: Most dealerships play a game on trade-in value, but not Main Motors. They always offer a fair market value on trade-ins. This is very important for me and should be to any person with a vehicle trade-in. If you are seeking a great new car buying experience, Ask for Brian R. in sales. He is friendly, knowledgeable and will make sure you get the best deal possible on your new Chevrolet.

Everyone was very friendly and easy to work with. The sales reps were patient; allowing me the time I needed to decide on the car I wanted. All the discounts were an added plus not to mention the loaded snack bar and free car washes. I would certainly recommend Main Motors.
