Edinburgh is rolling out a plan to cap the city's speed limit at 20mph on 80% of its roads. Scotland's ‪#‎slowroads‬ movement is aiming for better pedestrian and bicycle safety, cleaner air, and less impact on the climate.

Introduction
I love to bring mindful awareness into the process of helping organizations and businesses become more effective in what they do, and in getting people engaged in their mission. Some hats that I wear:
  • Cultural Anthropologist
  • Writer
  • Buddhist Chaplain
  • Change agent

My purpose on the planet:
To open hearts and minds through my writing and presence.

How that manifests these days:

I created The Liberated Life Project to offer tools for personal and collective liberation. The LLP supports people to live lives full of awareness, creativity, connection, and joy.

Through my business, Five Directions, I help progressive nonprofit organizations to build more engaged communities.

I contribute to the conversation about socially engaged Buddhism on my blog, The Jizo Chronicles.
