Thom(p)son Twins

Was listening to TWiT #493  yesterday. Leo called  Iain Thomson/Ben Thompson the Thom(p)son Twins! I was wondering if that was a subtle reference to the ones in +The Adventures of Tintin books - or just a coincidence. I was expecting a little more obvious reference - especially with one of them being British!

Command line utilities are often reserved for the geekiest amongst us, but many of them are actually better than desktop alternatives. In fact, many are easier to use, waste fewer resources, and often have more keyboard shortcuts. Let's take a look at some of our favorites.

Firefox does not like when you insist... like 158 times :)

A rare double WTF, where bad code triggers an unexpected bug in Firefox.
As any competent developer knows, not all Web browsers were created equal. In a stew of standards, drafts, vendor extensions, and JavaScript engine quirks, each of them can behave a little differently under various circumstances. Many people tried to resolve this situation, but "creative" coders ...

#zeroknowledge #privacy is awesome, but it comes with its set of logistic issues, as #Bitcasa is finding out...
If you want to hold onto your Bitcasa infinite-drive data long enough to move it somewhere else, you’ll need to pay Bitcasa $99 for an additional month, according to an order from U.S. District Judge William Alsup at a hearing in San Francisco on Wednesday.

Nice room, good facilities. Happy hour for guests between 5pm and 7pm (free drinks and snacks). They first put me in a room that was already occupied (ouch.. Glad no one was in when I unlocked the door and walked in!). But they quickly fixed it.
