Hope you don't think I'm being a bit cheeky here, but this smoothie is simple, delicious and lovely and cooling in this hot weather :)

For rural UK dwellers. The Countryside Alliance has developed an App to create a true picture of rural mobile phone coverage in the UK rather than the optimistic one that's published by the mobile phone companies.

This should be of interest to some of you. It's pro quality content with a revenue share - they have 900 partners including BBC, Reuters and a ton of other major names. It's in beta right now.

The big plus is publishers can curate their own content - down to single videos or themed topics and it's white label. Whilst the content creator will have a credit (obviously) your visitors aren't hijacked back to the #Blinkx  site.

I don't know how many they're accepting on the beta, but I'm pretty impressed.

I'm putting some on puppyfinder.org.uk - it's under the video tab (tho I suppose that's just a touch obvious!)

My first ever recipe post - but, not surprisingly it's for dogs. This is really quick, it's very healthy and appears to be incredibly delicious. Tried and tested by our Puggies, it has been given a definite paws up!

It's not too bad at all actually ;) It's the first thing Betty the Pug has ever eaten slowly!

For any F1 enthusiasts, a charity auction of helmets worn by Schumacher, Alonso and Massa - amongst others, in aid of the flooding victims at Magdeburg.

I'm guessing a lot of people have seen this already, but if you haven't it's enlightening.

Clever questioning that certainly made those people think about it in a different way.

Introduction
I am a classic example of turning a hobby into a career.

As a writer and dog enthsiast I saw the opportunity to combine the two back in 1998 when I registered my first domain name, kennels.co.uk. Since then I have grown my understanding of website development and growth, focusing on helping people make their websites and so their businesses successful.

I am equally happy to create new websites or rescue those that are failing to deliver for their owners.

I generally write the content for the websites I build as I know what works for visitors and the search engines. I love to see the sites I build succeeding and building my clients' businesses, and prefer to be very hands-on.

I largely work with people who aren't too comfortable with technology and aim to simplify what can be made a deliberately complex area.

If it's a small local business site I can help, whether from first ideas or troubleshooting a site in difficulties.

I have helped many people with problems during my years as a Bionic Poster/Top Contributor on Google's Webmasters Forum. Invited to become one of the early Bionics in 2008 I had the pleasure of meeting my fellow TC's at Mountain View in the summer of 2011 as a guest of Google.

What remains true today as it always has is that by observing the Google Webmaster Guidelines you stand a pretty good chance of achieving a successful website. Maintain quality content, regularly updated and your site should maintain its success over the years.

If you would like to contact me I would be delighted to have a no-obligation chat - maggie@k9mail.co

A family Sunday lunch was excellent, with some extraordinarily good desserts. Obviously a passion for someone in the kitchen. Very pleasant ambience with wood burner and large sofas. Dogs welcomed - something to remember for another visit.
