Back from a hard day's work in the Harvard Forest, much of it spent on hands and knees, measuring plants w/ calipers.
I am pleased to report that I am only slightly sunburned and have not yet found any ticks.
Photos to come. Expect to see, in no particular order: Moose "evidence", wooly agelid egg sacks, forest.
Tell you what, though, if you spend one day collecting data in the field, you will find a new respect for all the hard work that goes into the "Methods" section of a research paper.
