Wrap your C/C++ libraries and expose nice asynchronous Dart APIs for them!
Dart is a new platform for building structured web apps for modern browsers. It includes a language, a virtual machine, libraries, a UI framework, an editor, a compiler to JavaScript, and browser in...

And native means different things depending on the platform.  If you want to interface with JS when compiling Dart to JS, you might want to use "native" for that as well, but obviously that isn't going to work very well on the VM.

Posted by Mads Ager We've just published an article on how to use dart:io, our library for writing server-side code that runs on the standalone Dart VM. The library provides, among other things, a...

If you have a smartphone, please turn on 2-step verification to keep your Google account safe!

In 2010, our security team started seeing a trend of spammers hijacking legitimate accounts to send their messages (since if a message comes from someone you know, it's more likely to make it through spam filters). To help protect your account against this kind of attack, our team came up with a system that uses 120+ signals to try and detect whether a log-in is legitimate, beyond just a password. The result is that we've reduced the number of compromised accounts by 99.7 percent since the peak of these hijacking attempts in 2011.

Read more about this effort on our blog, where you can also find out more about things you can do to help strengthen your account security, such as using a strong password, setting up 2-step verification and having recovery options on your account:
