Interactive sheet music. A beautiful site. An interesting disruption to traditional modes of teaching and learning to play music.

The Instructional Designers are going to leave the room for 30 minutes.

1. Define the obvious goal of the activity… one that is either obvious from the nature of the activity itself or one that you explicitly state for us.

2. Define (for yourselves only) an ulterior motive. In other words, what kinds of information about us or your fellow Fellows would you like to gather from the activity while we’re focused on accomplishing the more obvious goals of the activity?

We’ll do the activity once we get back in the room.  Aim for a 15-30 minute activity.

Love it.
Here on Colossal we've seen an artist who collaborated with her 4-year-old daughter, transforming her random sketches and scribbles into fully realized artworks. With another take on the child/adult collaborative art genre, Dutch muralist Telmo Pieper did something similar, instea

Oh no, I touched my face! Uh-oh, I sat on a bed. A hackathon is developing a video game to train doctors and nurses volunteering for Ebola duty in West Africa.

Kodiak, Alaska is already using these! I think UAF should explore their uses. +Joanne Healy should definitely think about it!

"In years past, The Lindamood-Bell program would send an employee to schools all around the nation to help teachers tailor reading programs for their students. By replacing that person with a Double, it's saved Dunseith Elementary $75000. (Rebecca Ward, Dunseith Elementary Principal) "It's a ...

This is an original acrylic painting on wood panel. It's 28" x 48" on 1.5" cradled wood panel. The inspiration for this piece is a painting by Klimt (Life and Death) and a 19th Century Japanese print. I'm continuing to develop my layers into a workable piece, which to me is really always about trying to work through the complicated layers of my life to recognize an identity that is my own.
