Conversion Beyond the Landing Page: with +Unbounce  #unwebinarAMA  on Tuesday, March 31
Hey there kids. This week I attempted to deliver a Webinar about Conversion Beyond the Landing Page with our good friends Unbounce. Unfortunately, technical difficulties cut it short and no conversation was had (my favorite part).

Lucky for you, the webinar has now been re-recorded and is available in this blog post. But wait! There's More! You can also join me on Tuesday March 31st at 12pm MST/2pm EST for an #unwebinarAMA  on Twitter and I will answer any questions you have.

Hope to see you then!
Key takeaways from our webinar on conversion optimization beyond the landing page: purpose and integration. Plus the occasional Lion King reference.

Using Focus to Build Long-Term Momentum in Responsive Companies
There's a big difference between traditional companies and those who are Responsive. Because Responsive companies build their businesses and their brands differently, their marketing should go a little differently, too. New on the +Mack Web blog is a post about what it takes to stay focused so that Responsive companies can achieve both Business and Brand goals and experience long-term momentum.
Responsive companies require a different approach to marketing. One that evolves and provides focus so that both Business and Brand goals are accomplished.

Getting to the Good Stuff - Mack Web's Year in Review
“This year has truly been a gateway for +Mack Web. It took us 11 years to get here, but I finally feel like we’re getting to the good stuff. It’s not like it’s all rainbows and ice cream every day, but the mountain we’re climbing doesn’t seem so steep.

So this is the story of our year. The realizations of the company we’ve become. Mack Web has made some big leaps over the last 12 months and these are our discoveries (with blog posts in tow).”

The Measurement Behind Your Integrated Marketing Strategy
I am honored that I had the opportunity to present this deck in London to the +Distilled  #searchlove  audience. For those of you who missed it, here it is for you to enjoy: http://www.slideshare.net/mackfogelson/the-measurement-behind-your-integrated-marketing-strategy

In addition to this deck, also check out Growing Your Business Through Community and Integrated Marketinghttp://www.slideshare.net/mackfogelson/c3-2014cover

This is a more in-depth dive into the integrated marketing process we've been testing and having success with.
Everyone involved in brand building has encountered the problem of unrealistic performance expectations: too much expected, too soon. This seems especially true with online measures; after all, if it can be distributed at the speed of light, shouldn’t results arrive just as fast? Measuring and communicating the value of your integrated marketing strategy, then, presents a formidable challenge. This slide deck, presented at SearchLove London, disc...

Forget About Setting Goals. Focus on This Instead.
This post from +James Clear has a really powerful approach to thinking about goals. He's not advocating that they're not important, but rather:

"When you’re working toward a goal, you are essentially saying, “I’m not good enough yet, but I will be when I reach my goal.”

The problem with this mindset is that you’re teaching yourself to always put happiness and success off until the next milestone is achieved. 'Once I reach my goal, then I’ll be happy. Once I achieve my goal, then I’ll be successful.'"

This is a really great mindset not only for my personal achievements but also for our clients. When communicating the value and importance of the long-game and also the achievement of long-term goals, this approach puts validation in the building blocks and all of the pieces you're putting into place along your journey that are just as important as the end goal itself.

10 Things That Expose Good Sites to Google Panda
This one's worth the read, kids. So many great businesses with good sites and good intentions aren't aware that they are still doing things that could leave them subject to Panda. +Adam Sherk has some ideas for avoidance/remedy.

4 Ways to Build Trust and Humanize Your Brand
Finally, I'm back on the +Moz blog! Today I've got a beast of a post for you that I've co-written with +Mathew Sweezey from +Pardot. It provides many examples of how to humanize your brand so that you can earn the trust and loyalty of your customers long-term. More importantly, it will help you understand how humanizing your brand provides a strategic advantage over your competition as that's a significant piece to building a community and a sustainable brand. Looking forward to your feedback in the comments.
Humanizing and building trust with your brand can provide you with a strategic advantage over your competition. You must be real and authentic, listen and take action on what you hear, prioritize the relationship itself, and deliver on the promises you make.

I'd definitely recommend purchasing a vehicle at Davidson Gebhardt. I very much appreciated how accommodating Greg was with our family and handling paperwork via web, email, and phone to make the process as painless as possible.

I would highly recommend Don's Keyway Lock Service. They are fast and courteous. We called Don's Keyway Lock Service when we were locked out of our home. They arrived at our home in less than 15 minutes. Jeremiah successfully got us back into our home, but because it took longer than he would have liked, we were not charged for the service. Thanks Jeremiah for your help in getting our family back into our home!
